The commission offers various courses of the Indian Military Forces through this examination. Age Limit :-
- For IMA & Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2006 only are eligible.
- For Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 Years as on 1st July, 2025 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2005.
Educational Qualification :-
- For I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy, Chennai: A candidate should have any graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
- For Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have an Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
- For Air Force Academy: A degree from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 12th level and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Application Fee :-
- For all other candidates: Rs. 200/-
- For Female/ SC/ ST candidates: Nil
- Payment Mode: Through any Branch of State Bank of India by cash, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking of any Bank.

UPSC CDS II Selection Process
- Written Exam: The written exam will be varied for each course. The marks obtained in the written examination will decide whether a candidate can participate in the selection process’s next phase.
- Interview: The commission will take an interview to check the candidate’s personality and intelligence.
